SANSTEP
Spay And Neuter Surgical Training & Education Program
What is SANSTEP?
SANSTEP is a veterinary education and training program aimed at teaching the knowledge and skills needed to perform spay and neuter surgeries on dogs and cats in a safe and proficient manner. The 3-day program consists of 1 day of lecture sessions followed by 2 days of hands-on surgery on live animals under the direct supervision of a HVHQSN surgeon. The trainees will become knowledgeable in performing routine and complicated spays and neuters, dealing with intra-operative complications, and treating post-operative complications.
This program has been RACE approved for 20 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize RACE approval.
Where is SANSTEP?
Currently, SANSTEP's training location is in southern California in the city of Wildomar, right off the I-15 freeway. We are just a few minutes from quaint "Old Town Temecula" and wine country. The nearest airports are Ontario International Airport 37 mi north and San Diego International Airport 60 mi south.
When is SANSTEP offered?

Veterinarians are required to carry professional liability insurance (such as AVMA's PLIT). A max of 3 trainees will be enrolled for each 3-day program.
